CPU Load
CPU 0 .37
CPU 1 7.71
CPU 2 9.02
CPU 3 7.45
CPU 4 6.31
CPU 5 10.95
Via top, the load for CPU 0 is consistently lower than the load of remaining 5 processors which tend to stay closer together in value.
Is this situation unusual? Is this something that can be controlled? or Is this something that is application driven? I'm wondering could this impact performance because cpu 0 is not used as much as the other.
Any feedback will be welcomed.

Re: CPU Load
However, the OS is supposed to do a better job than that balancing resources.
You might check your application to make sure that smp(multiple processor) featurs are enabled.
This, being a snapshot might be misleading. I'm attaching a script that lets you collect data and obtain averages over time.

Re: CPU Load
Perhaps you have 5 processes using a lot of CPU time and 'bound' to the 5 processors, while other processes are handled by CPU0?
It is unlikely considering you are running database in this server, but that's something to start with ...
