how to convert this ksh to csh recognizable form;

PS1="$(hostname)@\$PWD> "

Expected output is;

dev01@/home/john>

Hi,
does this work on your system?:

alias cd 'cd \!*;set prompt="`hostname`@$cwd >"'

you have to execute a cd to activate it.
