Data protector error
There's this backup failing everyday with this error:
"Cannot start program '/opt/omni/lbin/omnisap.exe' ([4] Interrupted system call) => aborting"
I checked on /var/opt/omni/debug.log and the following entry appears:
"brbackup script failed ('/sapmnt/EC4/exe/brbackup -t online_cons -u / -c -d util_file -m all' failed)"
Path and right for the executable are right, so is syntax. I've been looking for this error but I can't find any info on it, does anyone know what is it about (or any document with some helpful info)?
Best regards

Re: Data protector error
Hi and thanks for answering,
-Version being used is 5.50 (in both cellserver and client)
hp4075:(/etc/opt/omni/server)(root)#more Version
A.05.50
-It's an online SAPR3 backup.
-The archives backups for the same instance run properly.
-The online backup is launched via a scheduler.
Also I'm attaching the output I had while checking the client DP software installed, in case it helps.

Re: Data protector error
Hi,
Thanks for the tips, I finally found the problem. As usual, it was an "user/passwd" issue.
Best regards
