DCE cdsd backup issue
Hi,
We are taking the DCE cdsd backup every day in our environment. After every backup scrip run, cds-server is becoming unresponsive.
cdsd backup is being taken in following way:
1) Disable the cds
dcecp -c cds disable /.:/hosts//cds-server
2) tar the files
/opt/dcelocal/var/directory/cds/
3) Restart cdsd
/opt/dce/sbin/cdsd &
I am not sure if there is any problem in above steps in taking the backups of cdsd.
When the /.:/hosts//cds-server becomes unresponsive, there will be issues in skulking between DCE master and replica.
Could you please help to fix the issue of taking backup of cdsd properly without any issues.
Thanks in advance,
Prasanna
