Demon goes into infinite loop
Hi,
I have a problem where the daemon goes into infinite loop and tusc output keeps showing repeated nanosecond and gettimeofday calls. Is there any problem with nanosecond and gettimeofday calls in HPUX.

Re: Demon goes into infinite loop
There may be a problem.
More likely the problem is with he/she/it who wrote the daemon.
Sounds like a homemade job. I've written a daemon or two in my time and thats where to look.
I'd fully patch my system too, June 2004 if you are on 11i v1
