Determine OnlineDiag Version

Determine OnlineDiag Version

I'm trying to determine the version of OnlineDiags I have. However, all the swlist commands I'm using show only the bundle version and not the actual version of OnlineDiags. I'm looking for output along the lines of A.57.00 or C.58.00.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Determine OnlineDiag Version

Compare the version with this table:

http://docs.hp.com/en/diag/stm/stm_upd.htm

your example:

A.57.00 Support Plus Media 0712 Dec 2007 B.11.11.20.02 A.04.20.11

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Determine OnlineDiag Version

One thing to note; the December 2007 release of the 11.11 version of OnlineDiags was mislabelled as 'A.57.00', which was also the STM version of the June 2007 version.

The downloadable depot should be updated this weekend to be A.59.00. A patch is in production to update installations made with the earlier depot, or from CD, to the correct label to avoid confusion, and the table of versions should also be updated to make things clearer - http://www.docs.hp.com/en/diag/stm/stm_upd.htm#table

The SW depot id did get updated, so it's possible to be sure which version you have. The June release is B.11.11.19.xx, the December release is B.11.11.20.xx.

What I'm saying is that "A.57.00" on its own is not enough to identify a version, it could be either the June or December 2007 release. That's the only STM version that has this problem, and the only problem caused by this is this confusion. Everything else should work OK (patch installation is based on the SW depot id).

Andrew

P.S. Robert-Jan, you need to upgrade!
