diald CPU high can I kill it
I have a diald process running with 97% of CPU for a very long time.
/opt/sanmgr/hostagent/sbin/diald
May I know what is this diald doing? Can I kill the process

IF you're NOT running OpenView Storage Area Manager, then kill it.
If so diag it.

The "diald" is one of the 2 daemons that are started by the CommandView SDM sfw (used to manage for example VA7XXX array). The other daemon is "hostagent". Have you take a look at the log file to see if you can find anything (opt/sanmgr/hostagent/log). What about patches are you uptodate on that ? Have you try restarting the daemon ?
