directing syslog to a remote sys log server
Hello All,
I'm trying to forward my hpux 11i box logs to a remote sys log server but could not succeed.
what should i do to make it working.
Any help is highly appreciated.

This requires port 514 be openned in tcp mode.
It would be helpful to see your /etc/syslog.conf file to see what you have tried.

As far as I know there is no difference doing this with HP-UX. The most common cause of failure is that port 514 is closed.

*.* @slsvr.domainname
