I have a D350 Server, I use this server to develop some applications, but I need to increase the disk area, I have a Disk array Model 10 whit 6 disk of 4gb each one,

Can I connect this disk array on D350 server?this server have a SE SCSI port available. And if this is posible, is necesary install some patch's??

I know to this disk array are very old, but need to save money.

I do not know the "Disk Array Model 10" but if it contains single ended disks there should be no problem in doing it. No special patches needed.

You should have no problem connecting a Model 10 (Nike) array to your D class. Just ensure you have a late GR patch bundle loaded, this should take care of all driver/possible problems.

Re: Disk Array Model 10 - D350

Hi Joell,

indeed, a A3231A Nike Model 10 contains SE disks BUT this SE scsi bus is a disk array internal one.

To connect it to a server you need a SCSI FW card- no problem, since a D350 has at least one (used for it's hot swap bay).

Patches: it's just a new FW scsi disk- I'm not aware of any special patch.
