Disk Quota Problem
Hello,
We have two HP9000(10.20) machines and two hard drives for users. Each of the two machines controlling one of the two hard drives. The user can access his files(same directory) from any of these machines. To set up aquota for each user, I followed these steps:
-the user directory: /drive1/john
-the drive1 filesystems are mounted
cpset /dev/null /drive1/quotas 600 root bin
edquota john
(then Iset the limits)
edquota -t
(then I set the timing)
quotaon -v /drive1
When I go to the user dirctory and type:
quota -v
the limits comes however the usage are 0
another point when the user access the other machine which does not control his files' harddrive nothing shown with using same command.
Itried to set the quota similarly in the second machine for drive1 and I got a message the filsystem is a remote file system.
Any help ......?
Thanks in advance.
Ibrahim
