Disk Unavailable
In one of my server there is a VG with single SAN disk , unfortunately Storage team have unmasked that Disk & was not available to VG for some point of time , When we informed them they Mapped again that LUN to the server but the physical path changed . Now the VG is with old paths but the LUN is visible with Old paths, is there any way to recover from this situation other than reboot or assignig the same disk path by storage .

You can try to import the vg (man vgimport)with new PATH.
#vgimport
Always better to specify OS/LVM version etc.
