dld.sl error

Hello,

I am trying to run an application which is related to Bank master and branch power software bt I got the error message attached please can anyone help urgently. thanks in advance for your quick reply.

Hello,

Check that the file exists.

Check that its directory is in the $SHLIB_PATH variable.

Check that all other environmental requirements of the cobol compiler have been met.

Then try again.

Also, a google search on the error text never hurts.

You should contact your BankMaster vendor.

This kind of "missing symbol" error indicates that the application's shared library may be out of date. The software cannot find the systemcall it needs in the library.

Could also mean a compile-time option was not correct.

This looks like a linker problem, u need to install ld and linker tool to get rid of this, post o/p of uname -a, i will suggest a patch.

export library path's with,

SHLIB_PATH or LD_LIBRARY_PATH variables. And execute that application.

Do you have any documents for that application. I hope it must have those details.
