DMP for Active/Passive disk array
Dear all,
I have a problem to use vxdmpadm to set pathtype to primary and secondary recently. I need to set it because I am using an Active/Passive disk array (IBM DS4700). When I ran the following command:
vxdmpadm setattr path c14t0d0 pathtype=primary
and I will get
VxVM vxdmpadm ERROR V-5-1-10357 Invalid argument or attribute specified.
and when I ran "vxddladm listsupport", I will get the following list:
LIBNAME VID
==============================================================================
libvxautoraid.sl HP
libvxcscovrts.sl CSCOVRTS
libvxCLARiiON.sl DGC
libvxemc.sl EMC
libvxfc60.sl HP
libvxva.sl HP
libvxhdsalua.sl HITACHI
libvxhpalua.sl HP, COMPAQ
libvxshark.sl IBM
libvxhds9980.sl HITACHI
libvxhdsusp.sl HITACHI
libvxibmds8k.sl IBM
libvxxp1281024.sl HP
libvxxp12k.sl HP
It doesn't seem list my DMP version (5.0) supports IBM DS4700. Anyone know how can I set the DMP to supports my Active/Passive disk array? Thanks.
