dns error

I am not able to connect to Internet, possibly due to dns error in the driver

So I would consider to configure the DNS access in order to resolve the names ...

What version of HP-UX are you running? When you configured /etc/resolv.conf, were the DNS nameservers verified as reachable and accepting DNS requests?

Please post the error message.

ifconfig -a

ifconfig lan0 (or whatever interface is active from the lanscan results)

Normally this is due to either a bad /etc/resolv.conf entry or server, or gateway on the network configuration.
