DNS problem..update denied

Hi .
can you help me?
we have public and private networks here.
when I used to restart dns
then syslog is generated such logs
what is that? what is the logs?
entire private IP are normal but a few are abnormal

Probably w2k hosts trying to "correct" their respective DNS entries with their netbios names. I get such messages every time our w2k clients boot. The w2k servers don't seem to do this because their names match.

You have probably allowed only update access to a few servers (which is good practise).

All W2k clients will try to update DNS while booting, unless you switch it off on all clients (register address in DNS option from network tab).
