DRD Question

Hello All

On rp4440 I have 2 internal disks for root which are mirrored, where do I create a clone image? break the mirror or use a san disk? what is the practice for DRD on rp4440?

Thanks

Re: DRD Question

Hi Candyman,

if you have additional disks, keep vg00 mirrored and use an external SCSI or SAN disk.
With a single boot disk your server will crash if this disk fails.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: DRD Question

candyman,
It is good practice to keep your boot disk mirrored. I always mirror my 2 internal disks, I do this because mirroring to a san disk can cause unwanted issues if/when your local disk fails.
