dynamic link orr apache
Hi All,
Here is a basic question. If we have httpd is the folowing.
httpd: PA-RISC1.1 shared executable dynamically linked -not stripped
And the plugin of apache is the following.
xxx.sl: PA-RISC2.0 shared library -not
stripped
Do it work correctly.
or do we have to recompile again for plugin ?
Thanks,
tash S

Re: dynamic link orr apache
Shalom,
Depends on your OS.
If you are 11i v1 or above, there is some chance this combination will work. If you are HP-UX 11.00 the PA-RISC 2.0 plugin will certainly not work.
I'm wondering why you don't use the apache that ships from HP at http://software.hp.com Just search for apache or hpws and you will find many choices that might meet your needs and have been ported and tested by HP.
