Easy question: Changing display settings
Morning all,
I've done this before but cannot remember the command for the life of me now.
What is the command to change the display settings of your HP-UX?
It is in the command mode and will show a list
0. display
1. display
2. display
3. display....etc
Thanks!
Joel

Re: Easy question: Changing display settings
Shalom Joel,
Perhaps I'm hardheaded but its not so easy for me.
Are we talking about the screen resolution on CDE or X windows?
Maybe the /etc/rc.config
file.
Need some more info and the OS to assist further.

Re: Easy question: Changing display settings
Hey Steven,
Working with 11i v1.6 (old I know heh).
What I am trying to do it change the screen resolution and monitor frequency.
The command I'm thinking of will pull up a list of supported settings, I recall with my server last time I did this it was 26.
Then I just choose the number that best fit the settings I'm trying to get and it changed them. It has been a long time, but I had to rebuild a server and whatever the default settings it chooses wrecks havoc with my KVM switch heh.
