EMS configuration

Hi,
i have to remove tapes from EMS.
Is it ok to stop monitoring, remove the tape.cfg files
and enable monitoring again ??

/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig

and (D)elete the monitor requests

I'm not sure but think you dont have to stop it.
