EMS warnings
I'm scratching my head a bit here. We have got a service guard cluster running several packages including Oracle, Apache etc. All 3 nodes have got EMS installed and configured.
Every now and then we get warning messages saying that the cluster is down, or the lan interface is down. etc... In reality everything is OK. I've put this down to a network flood at the time, but I've got no evidence of this. Has anyone seen anything like this, or got any clues as to what it might be?
Thanks.
Sime.

Re: EMS warnings
Here is the output from swlist: -
swlist -l fileset |grep -i event
EMS-Core.EMS-CORE A.04.00 Event Monitoring Services Core Files
EMS-Core.EMS-MX A.04.00 Event Monitoring Services SCMgr Tools
# PHCO_27752 1.0 audevent(1M) cumulative patch
# PHKL_25871 1.0 eventport syscalls;socket close(2) hang fix
# PHKL_27686 1.0 MO 4k sector size;FIFO;Event Port;perf;shmem
The patches on the systems are: -
swlist |grep -i gold
GOLDAPPS11i B.11.11.0406.5 Gold Applications Patches for HP-UX 11i v1, June 2004
GOLDBASE11i B.11.11.0406.5 Gold Base Patches for HP-UX 11i v1, June 2004
Might be a case that I need to install a later version, I've inhereted these systems, not buit them from scratch.

Re: EMS warnings
Can you give examples of the messages you are seeing? Where do you see them?
