Error 5217 : Not enough user virtual memory
Hi,
I'm using HP-UX 11.0 and I'm trying to do some compiling with "make" command and get the following error message:
Error 5217 : Not enough user virtual memory
How can i get rid of this error message?
Can somebody help me?

It should be due to swap space ; how much swap do you have ?

Yes it could be swap space, it could also be your maxdsiz kernel parameter - what is that set to?
Also try downloading gmake, I've had much more success with that and it seems to be a bit less memory hungry!
