Re: Error adding a client for recovery:
var/adm/sw/swagentd.log
From a2opv
Also check if you are having /etc/nsswitch.conf file
If not,
# cp /etc/nsswitch.files /etc/nsswitch.conf

Re: Error adding a client for recovery:
Nope, still the problem exists. I cannot add this one specific client. Others I can. This one I cannot add was tried to boot off the Ignite server via network. Something remains on it that prevents it being added as a client.

Re: Error adding a client for recovery:
http://docs.hp.com/en/IUX/faq.html#11-18
11-18 Why am I getting this message: Warning: untrusted X11 forwarding setup failed?
A: If you try to initiate a recovery session on a client from the Ignite-UX server GUI and you see the following warning:
Warning: untrusted X11 forwarding setup failed: xauth key data not
generatedWarning: No xauth data; using fake authentication data for
X11 forwarding.check the setting of the "ForwardX11Trusted" variable in /opt/ssh/etc/ssh_config on the server. If it is "no," try setting it to "yes."

Re: Error adding a client for recovery:
I used remsh and it omitted the X11 error.
The only thing in swagentd.log file is this:
ERROR: Access denied to root@a2nnmi.hns.com to start agent on
unregistered depot "/var/opt/ignite/depots/recovery_cmds". No
(i)nsert permission on host. 03/09/09 14:27:54 EDT

Re: Error adding a client for recovery:
hasn't helped.
I did register the depot and now got this error:
ERROR: ERROR: Could not apply the software selection "IUX-Recovery"; it is
not available from depot or root
"a2opv:/var/opt/ignite/depots/recovery_cmds".ERROR: No software has
been selected.ERROR: Cannot continue the "swinstall" task.
