SolutionFLT 3x00 FEPROM checksum failure
where x is the processor number
Call HP, get them to replace the board if it is under warranty.
Be advised, this interpretation is from a K-class manual, but I don't think they changed it for the D-class.

Re: error at boot
3x00 tells you it's FEPROM and the x tells you the processor memory bus slot #. These are processor dependent hardware codes - so this is telling you it's probably got a hardware problem.
Here's a thread...look way down and you'll see a chart that explains these codes:
http://us-support.external.hp.com/cki/bin/doc.pl/sid=f35f77470121d5cde2/screen=ckiDisplayDocument?docId=200000052370043
You need to call HP...

Re: error at boot
bad news,
FLT 3000 means: FEPROM checksum failure
This message comes from: Major Code Category 3: Processor Dependent Hardware (PDH) Codes
Think you have to contact HP.

Re: error at boot
..at least when I've seen similar codes, I have used the same chart (I have D and K boxes) and supplied HP with the same info.
