error: Lockf deadlock detection?

Hi all
when I use vgdisplay vg00,It appeare the following error message,why?
#vgdisplay -v vg00
vgdisplay: /etc/lvmconf//lvm_lock:
zzora3:/ #ioscan -fnCdisk
ioscan: libIO error from ioconfig_lock: /etc/ioconfig - permission denied

what is the permission of /etc/ioconfig file?

It has to be like,
-rw-r--r-- 1 root sys /etc/ioconfig

hth.
Easy to suggest when don't know about the problem!
