Error message after installe some patch

i need to install patch in my server rp8420 (11i) but there some error message is appeared after applayed this command on some patch, e.g
#sh /tmp/PHNE_31097 :Syntax error at line 5706 : `<<' is not matched
how to solve this problem?

Try to download patch again. Maybe it is corrupt.

Dear Nejad

do u want to install only this single patch
download from itrc site in u windows system
do ftp put one of u local directory then remove extension. after that u can install
by using swinstall command

Hi,
patch what you downloaded is corrupted.
so download patch from itrc and ftp this patch to server and create depot of this patch and install it by swinstall command

As others have mentioned the patch is corrupt.
You should find the here document with the "<<" and see if you can find the end of the here document. You have probably truncated the shar file.

hi,

in case, you downloaded the patch on a windows machine and then transferred it to your rp8420 afterwards. Make sure it was done in binary mode.
