Error message when executing /sbin/init.d/nfsd
Hi!
Here is the error msg :
-------
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symbol: __libnsl_is_variable_set (code) from /usr/sbin/nfsd
/sbin/init.d/nfs.server[179]: 14722 Abort(coredump)
-------
I have tried to reinstall the fileset related to NFS from the Core OS CD, but swinstall failed due to interpendencies with LVM filesets. When these filesets are marked, the same error messages are displayed during the analysis??
Any idea to solve the original problem?
TIA, Jerome

Re: Error message when executing /sbin/init.d/nfsd
Jerome,
Your first problem can be caused, because you had some dependencies missing or you had filesets in a transient or installed state.
check wit swlist -l fileset -a state
Regards
Darrel Louis

Re: Error message when executing /sbin/init.d/nfsd
Thanks Darrel, but all filesets appear to be "configured" (including NFS and LVM filesets).
