Errors in system created with ignite
HEllo,
I have the next problem:
I recovered a system (B) from a ignite tape from a server (A). The server A was in a SAN, and the server B isn't in a SAN. I want to recover data but is not possible to create the vg of the server A.
Now When I want to create a lvol in the new vg created in the server B, i recive the next error: lvcreate: Logical volume "/dev/vgxxx/lvxxxyyy" already exists, but isn't possible to mount or do some modification.

Re: Errors in system created with ignite
This vg is ghost VG. It existed on serverA.
vgexport will take care of it.
Make sure that you are exporting right VG.
