Exclude specific messages from syslog
Hi
I want to exclude logging to syslog when specific filesystems fill up, e.g. arwen vmunix: msgcnt 3 vxfs: mesg 001: vx_nospace.

hi,
the file, /etc/syslog.conf, is configure to logs these info to syslog.log.
in order to exclude vmunix messages, u have to know what is the facility and set the level of logging for that facility to none in syslog.conf.
man syslogd for more info.
