I have just updated my HP-UX 10.20 to HP-UX 11.00 and
I get this message in my /etc/rc.log file:
Copy processor logs to /var/tombstones
Output from "/sbin/rc1.d/S430pdcinfo start":
----------------------------
pdcinfo: ioctl( diag_fd, DIAG_PROC_HPAS, ... ) failed. : Invalid argument
pdcinfo: pdcinfo_main.c:445
ERROR: pdcinfo returned error status=255
"/sbin/rc1.d/S430pdcinfo start" FAILED
Any and all help greatly appreciated!
Troy

Re: Failed RC script
What kind of system is this? I'm wondering if it's a D220 or D320...because I don't think PDC will run on those. If that is the case...check out this thread:

Re: Failed RC script
You may also want to do:
swlist -l fileset -a state | grep -e install -e transient -e corrupt
and see if you get any filesets listed from this.
If you do, you need to rectify theses first.
