fbackup(4003): failed
When running fbackup on a HP L class server(HP-UX11.0) I am getting the following error..fbackup(4003): semaphore op failed: op=-1. soemtimes the backup hangs and other times it continues (I assume when there are sufficient semaphores available)The ITRC has recommended that I changed some kernel parms to increase the number of semaphores, this was done but the problem persists. Has anyone out there experience this problem?
Thanks
Chris

Re: fbackup(4003): failed
These could be one of the solutions for you:
Run fbackup in single user state...this is the recommended method since problems with partially updated files (files open and changing during the backup) will be avoided.
2. Increase the number of semaphores available in the kernel.
This parameter can be changed with SAM by changing the kernel parameters semmns and semmni

Jaime
