Re: fbackup problem

Hi,

This message indicates that the tape your using has not been used for fbackup on it's previous backup. The message will also appear if it is a new tape. If it has been used for 'tar' or 'cpio' this message will appear.

Re: fbackup problem

If you run the following command, it will show you all of the 'fbackup' error codes.

# strings /usr/lib/nls/C/fbackup.cat |more

Re: fbackup problem

This message just means that the tape is being used for 'fbackup' for the first time. This is just a 'warning' and will not hamper your bakcup procedure.
