SolutionThis message indicates that the tape your using has not been used for fbackup on it's previous backup. The message will also appear if it is a new tape. If it has been used for 'tar' or 'cpio' this message will appear.

Re: fbackup problem
After I run frecover, it pop up:
frecover(2114): read error from input device (I/O error)
frecover(2114): read error from input device (I/O error)
frecover(2113): unable to resync backup media
What is the problem?
