No device found.
Yet on another system we get a full list

ioscan -fnC fc
2. If discovered insf to create the devices.
insf or insf -e (recreate everything)
3. You can also check cables etc...

Have tried that but it still says no devices found, We think its a zoning problem but can not proove it

Are u able to see devices when u issue "fcmsutil -fnC fc" command?
If yes, next check the device file name (is it td or fcd), check if the FC card is seated properly in its slot.
Next, whether their is a physical connection between the card and storage?
Check these, and u should be able to resolve the problem.

We think its the zone as data protector goes through the same switch and is having the same probs
