You can do a reset from the fcmsutil utility...That should put you in better shape...

you can clear all statistics not just rx bad. Check your controller model and for A5158A option is "clear_stat", see man fcsmutil.
If you have a old controller model try option "reset" for fcmsutil but this will reset you fc connection for a short time and you peripherals will be unavailable for a few seconds.

If the people on the forum have assisted you in the past then please revisit your questions and assign points to indicate if the anwers that they gave were useful/ assisted you.
This is so that if a search is done and your question is the same as what is being searched then it will indicate to the person searching what was the best way to go in affecting resolution to their problem.

I have A3740A, looks like the option is to
FMCSUTIL /dev/xxxxx reset
The man page indicates that it is (distructive)
So is this something to do in the middle of a production day or at a later time?

A reset is a full reset so plan it away from production.
To be fully safe - Full backup first.
