If you want to install a FC card, you may require to install drivers for the same. Check with http://software.hp.com for drivers.
Also, Do a # ioscan -fnC fibre to see whether it is listed or not.

One you figure out your card, do a search on the entire HP web site for your card and it will point you to drivers and even documentation/howtos..

OK - if you'll be installing a Gig-Ether card you'll need one of the following drivers in the kernel:
gelan => for most of the older models
igelan => for all the current models
Check with SAM to see if one (or both) are "IN" the kernel already or "OUT".
