fileset

Hi,

The fileset state is corrupt in our installation. May I pleae know if there is there a way of changing this fileset state to configured?

swconfigure \* will try and configure anything.

Corrupt filesets need to be removed and re-installed.

sremove patch_or_fileset name

swinstall it again.

If it is still corrupt, re-do the download. If still, forget about the fileset.

Hi,

What product are you tryuing to install. Check if all the dependancies are met.

Try "swconfig PROD_NAME".

But in such cases I have ended up in reinstalling the particular fileset.

Hi

What fileset is corrupt.
If swverify is showing corrupt then you can try to use swconfig command.

However it is lilkely you'll need to swremove and re-install the package.
