firmware format


what format are the firmware patches in ?

The older style format is a shell archive, just run the command> sh
to unpack it, it will create a .frm firmware file and a .text help file.

The newer format (L & N class) is as a normal patch, in swdepot format, ie. PHSS_xxxx just use swinstall to install it.
Im from Palmerston North, New Zealand, but somehow ended up in London...
