Solution
A floating IP in HP-UX is also known as a "package IP", and is used with a product called Serviceguard. A serviceguard cluster consists of 2 or more servers. The package IP is an IP address that is associated with an application. When necessary, the "package" can move manually or automatically to one of the other nodes in the cluster, hence the term "floating IP".

Re: Floating IP
Hi Shivkumar,
Need some more details. Do you mean cluster package ip as "floating IP"?
Normally cluster package will floating across the cluster nodes.
Look at the package configuration file. Normally that will be /etc/cmcluster/.conf file
For more details.
