Forums Daily Digest Update

Hi All,

Good news to report. For those of you who have subscribed to the daily email digest of new forums discussions, the developers have released a new delivery system that went live today! I received the first update today using the new system, and you should have too if you are a subscriber.

The opening message begins with:
"New forum discussions are beginning at Hewlett-Packard websites of interest to you.
Hewlett-Packard is pleased to alert you that new discussions have begun in areas of interest that you selected as part of your forums profile. The following messages (listed below) are waiting for your participation. Go read, share your expertise, and earn points from your peers!"

To update your subscription, or add it to your profile, click on "my profile" on the left sidebar. Select "view or update forums profile", and make your selections under "areas of interest". You will be notified of new discussions starting in those areas each day.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you find things amiss.

I've got it,
but is it possible to submit
timestamps with it?
8:00 o'clock in Japan and 8:00 o'clock in the USA makes a big difference in age and time-to-solve.

Finaly got a update at all. Haven't recieved anything the last 6 months...

The first 2 e-mail updates came with a mail format our system couldn't read, but now it looks great.

Thanks to everyone for your feedback. Glad you like the new update digest.

Ceesjan: I've asked the developers to look into your request and add it if possible.

Steven: I checked and you have more than one registered userid (4) with the same email address. It is likely 3 of them subscribe to the update. You'll need to login under the other userids and *deselect* the areas of interest for 2 of the 3 that are receiving the update. If you are not sure how, let me know and I'll email you more info.
