Free xserver

Dear All,

anyone know about a free xserver to use on Windows XP to connect to HP-UX 11.11 ?

I tried to use cygwin with
Xwin.exe -query 192.168.0.2

But that seems not to work.
It's only going around trying to connect. I think it ends with:

winProcEstablishConnection - Hello
winProcEstablishConnection - Clipboard is not enabled, returning.
winDeleteNotifyIcon - Shell_NotifyIcon failed
winDeinitMultiWindowWM - Noting shutdown in progress

Regards
Lars

Re: Free xserver

Hello Lars,

Please take a look
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=979193

It also works with cygwin if you have X installed under cygwin. Run cygwin and then startx in the cygwin term. You can then tunnel X back to your PC with PuTTY.

It works for me.

Tom
