Freezing Node on VCS
I want to freeze vcs on one of my cluster node and then take it off line to perform oracle clod backup as requested by our DBA, when ever I freeze one node and take it off line vcs automaticaaly start on the second node (freezing seems not working),appreciate if some one help.
My veritas cluster is 3.5, using veritas volume manager, hp-ux 11i.

You should use cmhaltpkg rather trying to stop the application by other methods to prevent it from switiching to other node.
