ftp user

I have set up a restricted ftp user which can put and get files OK.
I need to allow another user to be able to modify the files which the ftp users puts, but the permisions on the file do not allow this.
Is there a way of specifying permissions of ftp'd files for a particular user?

Re: ftp user

The umask of the two users needs to allow group access and the users need to have a group in common.

So long as you don't require execute priv's this or ftpaccess changes should allow this to work for you.
