Re: Full Image All Hard disk
use fbackup, see 'man fbackup' or define it with SAM.

Re: Full Image All Hard disk
you can indeed use Ignite to dump other VGs than vg00 by e.g. "-x inc_entire=vg_something|/dev/dsk/something",
although it must be said that Ignite's purpose isn't designed for backups other than disaster recovery of vg00.
Since all our mounted filesystems, apart from /stand, are of type VxFS I would prefer using the VxFS twins vxdump/vxrestore for general backup dumps, if you can't resort to a more sophisticated backup strategy/tool like e.g. OmniBack or TIVsm etc.

Re: Full Image All Hard disk
Ignite-UX is not a backup tool. Though yuo can add the remaining vgs it is not a recommended method.
Either you can use fbackup or vxdump to have your data vgs to be backed up.
You can refer the man pages of the same.

Re: Full Image All Hard disk
To check your disk configuration use
# vgdisplay -v
You should have 2 copy of backup.
1. Ignite, this is for OS backup
2. Filesystem Backup, in your case, using fbackup
If OS disk failed, restore it from Ignite backup, and then restore the rest of the data from fbackup

Sandy
