gcc

I tried to compile iotest...it requires gcc..and i don't have that type of compiler... can any1 give me a hand on this

Hi Steven,

You can modify your Makefile and point it to the C compiler you have.

Most of the public domain softwares like to be compiled with gcc. You can download it from HP's porting center.

http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Gnu/gcc-3.2/

You might need other softwares like binutils etc.,. You can get them from the above site.

You could go to the gcc site and download the source and compile it:

Or you could go here and download a depot with compiled binaries for 11.00:

http://gatekeep.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Gnu/gcc-3.2/

Or you could go to Merijn's site [at Clemens mirror] and download it also:

Does IOtest exerise write out random exerise when select the exercise... when I do iostat i saw I/O rate, however, when I did bdf, nothing changes...and no data was added to the filesystem...in addition, since it is using raw device...how can I use to test to a filesystem??

ff - give file names and statistic about
