GHOSTSCRIPT PDF to TIFF conversion issue

Hi,

We are using ghostscript for the pdf to tiff conversion
The problem that comes in is that when the image that is being used is a colored one then the pdf to tiff generation does not work ..
Is there any configuraion change that I need to do to incorporate both the grey scale and colored image change so that the ghostscript works fine in both the cases
