Hi,
I installed ghostview from http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/alpha.html
but if I try to run it the following message appears:
bash-2.04# /usr/lib/dld.sl: Can't open shared library: /usr/local/lib/X11/libXaw3d.sl
/usr/lib/dld.sl: No such file or directory
[1]+ ABORT instruction (core dumped) gv
Where can I get the needed libraries from. Does anybody have any good hint to get an running ghostview?
Thanks in advance,
Oliver

did you install them all ?
Dependencies: ghostscript gs_f_other-5.10 gs_f_std-5.10 libpng zlib

Well,
looks like the xaw3d package also should be listed in the dependencies.
Try to install it
http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/X11/Toolkits/Xaw3d-1.5/

Re: Ghostview doesn`t find some libraries
Hi Jarle,
thank you for this hint: It was indeed the right track. The Xaw3d was missing and after I installed it (I took the binary version of the package for 11.00) Ghostview is running fine.
Best regards,
Oliver
