glance warning message

I am getting a warning message when I start glance:

cannot write to system thresholds file.

The OS is 11.00 64-bit.

How do I get rid of this?

Re: glance warning message

Boy I hope I'm reading this right.
Glance' system threshold file is the parm file in /var/opt/perf. It should be set to 644 root:bin. I'd check this first.
...
This is the file where you setup the threshold limits, etc for what your going to get stats on and this information is then written to your different log files when MWA/Scopex is running. So the error made me sort of pause...is it just saying that it really isn't reading the threshold file (parm file) or is it that your log files have maxed and in your parm file you haven't set it up to do the roll back for removing the oldest 25% of data when the files get full. Is it possible the sizes got reduced in this file...so scopeux thinks it's supposed to have more room to write...and automatic resize will happen at the next mainttime, and maybe that needs to be run.

Oh well, just a few things for you to check out.
