graphics
I just want to know using what format i can play movies in hp -ux 11.00 OS ( on model B2000 / B2600).
And how to broadcast the same in LAN, I mean if i play a movie, it should broadcast in LAN and initiate other systems to play it, without user interference

Re: graphics
The following command would need to be run on the workstations:
/usr/bin/X11/xhost +hostname
Then you might be able to play the movie on all nodes.
As far as user interfence goes, if the user has root priviledges, there is little or nothing you can do to prevent them from killing a process.

For the most part, they are mpeg players, but xanim will handle "FLI/FLC, IFF, GIF, DL, PageFlipper Plus and GoldDisk MovieSetter animations".
