HA cluster
hi,
I´ve done an upgrade of an existing duplex HPUX server to HPUX 11.i using ignite tape. The installation was OK. The system contains two servers, active and standby, using the service guard. The servers are sharing an enclusure with 4 disks. If I reboot the standby node, the active node is receiving a termination signal and reset the SCSI controller. It seems that 2 external disk have the same scsi ID.
How can check and reconfigure the scsi ids of external disks? Could it be the cause of the reboot?

Re: HA cluster
r u halting standby node by using :cmhaltnode nodename command before executing reboot.
If no then please execute "cmhaltnode nodename" and then reboot server.

Re: HA cluster
Hi,
>>It seems that 2 external disk have the same scsi ID.
Why do you have this doubt?
Which Disk enclosure you have? ( VA, MSA, JBOD).
Where you are getting the error msg? Post the exact error message. Run cmviewcl -v and post the o/p here.

Re: HA cluster
I found out that the enclosure is not claimed in one of the hosts. I´ve turned off and turned on the disk array. The problem was solved.
