swlist -l product
Note the version will be something like B.11.00.15 for product A5158a. The version is the HBA firmware there is no BIOS.

Use swlist to get the patch info. You should see something like this:
FibrChanl-00 B.11.11.09 PCI/HSC FibreChannel;Supptd HW=A6684A,A6685A,A5158A,A6795A
The latest patch for the tachyon HBA is PHKL_27751.
You can use xstm (or stm for the non-graphical version) to get the model and serial numbers of the HBAs.
