SolutionThe card will probably be autodetected if the OS is up to date.
You may need to install drivers from one of these sources:
Core OS CD/DVD
Application CD/DVD
In either case the driver is not locked and should be readily visible upon mounting the CD/DVD

Re: HBA Installation
After installing the HBAs and rebooting run a ioscan -funC fc
which should show the special file names & paths, for this HBA /dev/td0 I'd expect. Check the firmware level with fcmsutil as follows;
fcmsutil /dev/td0|grep Driver
Driver state = ONLINE
Driver Version = @(#) libtd.a HP Fibre Channel Tachyon TL/TS/XL2 Driver B.11.11.12 (AR1204) /ux/kern/kisu/TL/src/common/wsio/td_glue.c: Oct 11 2004, 14:45:41

Re: HBA Installation
There are a number of patches along the way, but for the 11.11 box at least, the latest QPK has some SCSI cumulative updates that do affect.
To note, for additional monitoring using EMS, there was a bug that's been fixed in the latest rev of Online Diags (B.11.11.20.03 - Dec 2007) and post that there's a patch in the same QPK set that needs to be applied to the OnlineDiags (PHSS_34835, no reboot required, just re-apply the QPK after and it'll find it.)
As long as the FibrChanl-00 is installed, you should be able to see the card.
The driver is also available from here:
